New to Saab - 9-3 tid 2.2

Hi All,

I'm new to Saab and have purchased a 51-plate 2.2 tid with 137k on clock with full history.

The car is lovely but I have discovered a slight problem:

Under full acceleration the car pulls hard to 2500rpm and then there is hesitation (like you have come off the power) until 3000rpm.

Under normal or half acceleration there is no problem.

Does anyone know what is causing this problem?

The car does not smoke at all, even if you boot it.

If it's anything like the 1.9TID start with the EGR valve.

I'd also check the exhaust and induction systems for restrictions.

Finally, fuelling. Wang some injector cleaner through and go be rough with it.
