hello,

Currently on the lookout for an additional car, it would be kept abroad and used occasionally (garaged while not in use). I want something that is:

a) comfortable on the motorway at 100mph (ie: stable and silent)
b) will start and not seize up if left unused for 3 or 4 months (obviously battery disconnected)
c) good carrying capacity (thus the Aero)
d) as a bonus, entertaining to drive on the twisties

What are the 9-5 Aero's like? Can anyone compare with, say, a BMW 530i (current car, will stay in UK) in terms of driving experience which I love as its very refined, sounds nice and is 'cossetting' while entertaining.

Budget is around £3k.

Thanks in advance,

MoonMonkey

I sold mine a few months ago and regret it. As a long distance cruiser, with all the toys, supremely comfortable, with a good turn of speed I found it hard to beat for not many pennies. Guy at work bought mine and I see it every day which makes matters worse.

I had mine for three years. I would say they have points a, b and c covered easily. Entertaining on the twisties? Probably not compared to a 530.

A seriously, seriously good car though that is at it's best on long journies and on the motorway
