Hi

I currently have a 93 1.9 Diesel that needs a timing belt change quite soon. I am of course having it done, just interested that if it did snap, are they prone to damage ( valves etc )

Thanks

I'm now about to get it done ( I've been away for a few months ), how much should I expect to pay ? I'm guessing around £ 250 ?

Thanks again

Not sure where yor are,

Sytner Saab Oxford, although it is recommended to change the water pump at the same time, as some belt failures are caused by seized pump bearing that then cause the belt to snap.
