07 9-5 Aero Hot, bargain?
Discussion
I've recently been looking at replacing my e46 330ci with something a bit bigger and more practical, I would like something similar performance wise that returns at least the same economy, i.e. 27-28mpg. I've been looking at the usual suspects Octavia VRS, Mondeo ST220 etc, but in my search I stumbled upon this car.
I know very little about them apart from what I've read in the past 24 hours, so I thought I'd call on the collective wisdom of Pistonheads, what are the like to own and run? Any major issues? Would the mileage on the car be an issue? To me it seems like a bit of a bargain, right?

As mentioned above 200k Saabs are quite common, even clutches have been known to go well into the 100k's.
Owned my 03 plate for 3 years and now with 86k on the clock. No major issues, just a few common failings of DI Rails and suspension bushes.
I get around the 29mpg mark, and I don't drive that slow. Servicing costs will prob be the same as your BMW. I pay from £300 to £500 depending on what needs doing.
Take one for a test drive, I'm sure you'll be impressed. Price is about right for age and mileage.

I've just come back to 9-5 Aero's, an 05 estate this time. The refinement won't impress you after the BM but you get a lot of car for your money. That one looks well priced, and the mileage is no bother provided oil changes/servicing have been stuck to. Mine is on 125k. I sold my last one at about 98k four years ago, it's on over 150k now and never let the owner down.
28-32 mpg commuting on fast B roads, depending on how much overtaking/boost use!
