Tried it.

Now have a very verticle wiper.

I'm going to try a new idea. set in place, disconect wiper, Dont drive in the rain.

yip, i was fed up of the wipers being in the vertical position so unplgged them and parked them afterwards.

I recently fixed mine. The motor needs to be stripped down, its not a really difficult job just fiddly. Google it and you'll find a detailed how to guide.
