Pretty quiet here on this forum, thought there would be a bit of discussion now that we are only 2 months, two weeks and four days away.
Looks like Angie and I are the only ones going from Nth East Scotland this year in the T350t. The usual suspects from up here are saving their dosh for Spa track day end Sept/Oct.
Anyone else going to Zolder?

We'll be there in the BBW. Dover to Dunkirk run. I keep checking the TVRCC Holland site for the application form, but nothing yet. Can't be long though, as the date is confirmed by the circuit.

The programme and registration are now on the TVRCC Holland website:
http://www.tvrcarclub.nl/

I'm going to check whether the same arrangements as last year are available for those without a Euro bank a/c and wanting to avoid bank conversion / payment charges.

Anyone else having trouble with the online registration form? I've tried twice and got server errors each time.

It worked for me; and Gerda from TVRCC.NL has confirmed my entry and that the track, dinner, etc costs can be paid at arrival in Heerlen at their Hospitality Desk.

I'm thinking I may do this on my way back from Le Mans 24hr. Couple of days in Giverny (Claude Monet's house) on the way back up and then Zolder. What actually happens? Is it just a TVR track day, or does everybody get together for a few social cocktails afterwards?

Much more sociable than just a trackday - check out the programme through the link above. Lots of people are serial visitors (we first went in '91 & '92, and then every year from 2000 onwards), which I think says a lot about this event.

It depends on how seriously you take it. Most treat it as more social, with a track day tagged on. But you can win trophies, so some take it very seriously! There's an evening dinner after the track day, where everybody gets together and usually with cocktails included. It's one of those events you can take the other half to; or go with your mate. There's also the 'Ring, Spa and Michael Schumacher Karting all near by, so there's lots to do. There's a lot of cars coming back to the North on the Sunday, so you're welcome to join us.

Van Der Valk Motel at Heerlen, arriving afternoon-ish of 16th; it's where the majority stay and where the evening meal/awards takes place after the track day on 17th. 18th, Ring/Spa/karting etc; and then home on 19th Rotterdam - Hull ferry; which gets you back to Bradford for 0930ish on the Monday. Other Yorkies go Zeebrugge - Hull; where as the Hexham and Scots go on the Newcastle boat. Some go home on the Saturday night boats too.

Cheers, I'll check out the room availabilty and ferries tomorrow. Are there preferential rates at the hotel for the TVRCC lot?
