Not sure if this is the right area to post this - but thinking about going to the Zolder 24hr at the end of August. Any do's or don'ts? Will be camping so wondering how the site at the circuit is etc.

Cheers
Mike

PS I'll also put it in GG just to cover the bases...

What Norman does in the privacy of his own home is his affair.

Meanwhile back on planet Earth - any advice about Zolder please?

Hi guys ,

The 24h race at Zolder is an lovely event : a lot of Porsches, a few Ferr 430, Aston DBRR9 and Moslers and lambo's ( All GT3 cars) and a mix of Touringcars too

As a spectator ,Zolder is better,..... As a racingdriver, Franchorchamps will be more exciting

More info at http://www.circuit-zolder.be/

Cheers

Hi Paul,
Do you know what the camping facilities are like, food and drink on site, shopping etc., it,s very difficult to get info and the official site is not very helpfull.

Hi ,

The camping isnt' that bad ; you can even set the tent down under some trees or in open air :
There is not a store in the camping area , the town centre of Zolder is 3 km
But you have a nice pub with good beers and food , "Wheels", just around the corner of the general entree.
Hopefully the weather will be ok that weekend

Cheers
