Zolder Newbie

Just wondered how many people book Zolder through TVRCC here or whether it is better to book direct with the Dutch club? The reason I ask is that although I sent my booking form and payment to our club in April it was 3 weeks before they sent it to Holland and by then I presumably had no chance of being booked in the main hotel. I only discovered this after phoning today in a panic as I realised its only a week until I set off.

I have only been a member since 2006 and have had no dealings with the club prior to this. To date,despite requesting it at time of booking, I haven't even received confirmation of my booking or receipt of payment. Have to say that the attitude over the phone today was decidedly couldn't care less.

Is this just the way it usually is?

Hi Will - In the past my program and booking confirmation arrive after I've actually set off, so make good reading when I get back home. Are you traveling over alone, or in one of the groups?

Were you told there was no room in the main hotel? Our confirmation didn't mention anything so we'll be somewhat annoyed if this turns out to be the case.

It has always turned out well in previous years so hopefully this year will be just as enjoyable.

Apparently in a 2nd or even 3rd hotel but nobody able to give me a name yet! You should be ok if you booked before April but my main problem is lack of communication.

If you look on the website www.tvrcarclub.nl you will see the main hotel. Put the address in your Sat Nav or print out the map and turn up on the Thursday. I am sure it will be ok. Sure, not the best way to be but there are still a few days to get the info. Getting your pack after the event is not right but you have enough info on the website to get you in the right place at the right time. See you there!

I emailed the email address on the booking form yesterday and I have emailed you via this site today, we received the programs TNT yesterday and sent them straight on 1st class to all our bookings.

I do have a few spare programs left, happy to send to anyone who would like another call me 01952 822 126.
