I think Zolder is a race circuit in Belgium.

I think Zonda may be some kind of motor-car. Others will be along to explain...

Continental TVR meeting, organised every year by the Dutch TVR Car Club and held on the Belgium racing circuit of Zolder. Value for money, friendly crowd and enjoyable day out. Biggest meeting of TVRs outside the UK and with like 100 TVRs across all models wouldn't even go amiss in the UK....
You can make it a several days outing as friday is the trackday and is one of 3. Other posts on here can give a further impression or other people to contact (UK: Russ TVR3X on here is very helpfull for example).

It's better than Le Mans if that helps beer. Loads of fun driving without the tosser factor coming in to play like so many events .Nice people and weather, usually .

Hi - I am the Russ Wood of who they speak!

The Zolder event is organised and hosted by the Dutch TVR Club - with help from som eof the Belgies.

The event revolves around a hotel and includes a track day at the former Grand Prix track of Zolder. The track day is not monotonous driving round but also involves slalom, hill climb (in Belgium !) and accelleration test - with an international relay race. Everybody accepts that the cars are primarily designed for the road and will get completely knackered if whacked round the track all day.

The emphasis is on social interaction rather than just the track, some of the drivers take it seriously (but not too seriously).

Entries for UK TVRCC members go through Alison at the Club Office, they take the risk on currency exchange and allow you to pay by credit cart. The other option is to pay the Dutch club directly but the exchange fees are high.

If you are a UK TVRCC member then PM me on russ at <russ hyphen wood dot com> and I will send you a form.

This year sees a move to a new hotel nearer the track, but it should prove successful as usual.

The attendees from the UK find their own way there from Scotland, North East, North West, South and occasionally Cornwall in a variety of cars from Grantura to modern.

Hope to see you there!

Russ
