I heard he was black flagged (again) during the fastest lap, maybe that's why?

My excuse was that the other Sag span in front of me, costing me at least 30 seconds!

Thats ok then, I'm happy with that explanation.

Surely the Sag had time to spin, correct and get out of the way before you caught him hehe. Or maybe he just never heard you coming.......

Blimey, I see they're down to 1:50 now. Last time I was there there were only a couple of us that got under 2:00. Has the track been shortened in the last couple of years, or is it simply that these guys are spectacularly fast?

In fact, with the new tight chicane the circuit is 2-3 seconds slower than before, so yes, these guys are very fast indeed. When will we see you again, Pete?

No idea, I could ask. Just received word that the Racers were not officially competing, so they can join but can't win any prices.

I know the feeling: I had two brilliant sprints without a passenger, but seem to have made false starts in both cases. Well, it was my own fault. banghead

Crikey, that makes it even more impressive! thumbup

Had been hoping to make it this year but obviously missed that by some margin. *Surely* I'll have got my act together by next year? This is what I said this time last year though. frown

How can you make a false start? I thought the timing started from the point that you tripped the beam, so the lights don't really matter do they?

If you pass the line before the light turns green it's a false start. My problem was that at the line the car rolled back slightly and I compensated too much and thus crossed the line. This is for the Sprint only. The hillclimb starts when you pass the beam.
