My excuse was that the other Sag span in front of me, costing me at least 30 seconds!

Surely the Sag had time to spin, correct and get out of the way before you caught him . Or maybe he just never heard you coming.......

Blimey, I see they're down to 1:50 now. Last time I was there there were only a couple of us that got under 2:00. Has the track been shortened in the last couple of years, or is it simply that these guys are spectacularly fast?
In fact, with the new tight chicane the circuit is 2-3 seconds slower than before, so yes, these guys are very fast indeed. When will we see you again, Pete?Daftlad said:

I know the feeling: I had two brilliant sprints without a passenger, but seem to have made false starts in both cases. Well, it was my own fault.

Crikey, that makes it even more impressive! Had been hoping to make it this year but obviously missed that by some margin. *Surely* I'll have got my act together by next year? This is what I said this time last year though.

How can you make a false start? I thought the timing started from the point that you tripped the beam, so the lights don't really matter do they?Edited by Gerjo on Tuesday 26th June 14:22
