Is it realy going to happen or does my suspension ruin it??

Hi guys,

All exited for my first visit to Zolder. Wanted to come last year, but then my daughter was born a few days before.

This year,however I am going to participate!!!

However: Since a week or so, there is a sharp ticking/snapping noise coming from my front suspension (I think it is the drivers side. It happens when I steer more sharp or when riding over a bumpy road. Hope this is not going to prevent my initiation into Zolder from happening...

Does anybody know what it could be?

Anti-roll bar mount detached? Happens on the Wedges regularly.

What car is it? Sounds as if you have a loose joint or bush in the front suspension, get underneath and have a good heave at everything and see if you can find any play.

Found it!!

My front suspension has worn and the car (an S3c) had lowered itself.
This made that the suspension arms (is that english?) touched the cover in my right wheel arch...

New springs and shock dempers for Zolder and here I come!!!!
