On some of the other recent posts, there has been mention of changes to the circuit. I have tried via various searches on the net to see what the changes are and as usual in my case, I have failed .

Can anyone assist - preferably by posting a map of the new layout?

That looked slow on the footage, however, assuming the speedo was KPH, it was in fact approx 140 MPH past the pits and 70MPH through turn 1.
Very nice!

I found this in Wikipedia.

Now, Zolder hosts a round of the World Series by Renault championship, as well as the national GT Belcar championship, including the Euphony 24 Hours of Zolder, and many more. In the beginning of 2006, the track underwent some adaptations to increase safety. In 2007, the track will host a Champ Car World Series Grand Prix.

Zolder will be hosting the final round of the FIA GT Championship in October 2007.

From the bike footage, I can't tell if any of the corners ahve changed. Whatever differences there are from last year, they must be fairly minor (graveltraps? barriers?).

I would also suggest that there are no changes since last year...I've watched it very closely and more times than I should have.

Looks like the current car set up is ok hehe

I was racing in my TVR last month with a mate and I can confirm there have been no changes to the circuit this year. I have some small footage from my mates Golf GTI

The Chicane (left-right) is actually faster since the last time they changed it...

Chicane; what a discission
Guys
Believe me ; the laptimes are around 1 or 2sec slower this year : the changed te kerbstones in the chicane before the hill: I live only 20miles from Zolder
there is less a straight line now than last year

See ya at Zolder

Dammit! - I used to love straight lining that! - There goes my dream of a sub 2 minute lap.

Often being accused of being sad......

Curiosity got the better of me so I went to Zolder on Sunday to have a look. The inside of the left hand corner is being worked on, does look different, but still looks quite fast.

It sounds like a sad thing to do but as I'm nearby on business at the moment it was no problem smile

edited to add, I was not participating in unsporting pre-event practice. paperbag

There is no such thing in my book.

As long as the circuit is still clockwise, I'll pootle round as usual, hoping for that elusive sub-four minutes.

With optional hair dryer (unfortunately not required in my case, so I went for the 'extra-hold' suspension with highlights).

If Audi had, by now, delivered the R8 I ordered in November, you would have seen that parked up in the paddock. Latest they told me was September so I've cancelled it.
