Do you know if these were just for TVRs or other marques on the trackday as well? (ie What sort of car was 44, 30, 45)

Enjoyed your video - some numpties not using their mirrors though!

Some other cars (non-TVR) were present (Lola T70 "43", Ariel Atom "30", ...).
Number "45" is a Tuscan, "46" a T350 with 4.5l, "69" is a Sagaris.

Track day etiquette was not what I was used to, as you mentioned few people were using mirrors, fewer still were giving consent to pass, and those that did were sometimes waving people past on the right.

All this was exacerbated by the total lack of driver any driver briefing! There was a booklet with flags explained, but that was about it. Having said that the only accidents I saw would probably have been unaffected by the lack of briefing, and the general standard of organisation was very good. The varied events made for a very enjoyable day indeed.

number 69 is the w!!ker who overtook me going into the chicane at the end of the back straight, under a waived yellow flag because of a spun car in the gravel. I resisted the urge to speak to the organisers, but maybe I should have. Not surprising the car had its number plates obscured.

That was a mistake, a quiet word in the organisers ears does us all a favour.

Number 7 - I liked the Sagaris that over took Toppie on his video and then pulled into the pit lane. Good slowing down lap that!

ukkid35 - Yeah, the driving standard can be poor. Did it put you off, or will you go again?

I will definitely go again. I really enjoyed it, the dinners on Thursday and Friday were great, a really friendly crowd, I even won 2nd in the Hill Climb! I also managed to save some money by staying in a cheap B&B in Brunssum, and then blew all my savings by going to the Ring on Sunday, I just couldn’t help myself!

The €30 B&B worked well, except I missed the last bus on Friday night, ended up walking back, and then found myself in some weird karaoke type pub/nightclub singing ‘I wanna break free’ at 4am.

Haha! That just sounds like a typical Friday night out in Holland.

Next time as well as the 'Ring, try the Michael Schumacher Karting Centre at Kerpen (40 miles from Heerlen and can be sort of on the way to the 'Ring).

reply for to the message of Number 7 :I know who number 69 was in the grey Sagaris ,but i can not speak here about ; finally he was back flagged for making more than 95dBa

When I was involved in the trackday organisation some years ago ; i told the people from the dutch club to do a decent briefing in the morning and to tell that that are slow ,fast and very fast TVR's on the track at the same time;
Drivers should be polite and respect the behaviour of slower TVR"s in front of them : and NEVER overtake when you see a yellow flag

But this can start a new topic about safe driving on a TVR trackday

Cheers

Nice find. It seems that he loved my (Ex-) Sagaris: 8 pictures only of her :-)
