Zolder ferry cossings

Thinking of going over this year, what ferry crossing do the regulars take? The tunnel looks good to me (Coventry), but would like to hear other options.

We usually use Norfolkline Dover - Dunkirk service. It's fairly cheap, but reliable. You need to avoid the upper car decks if you have a low exhaust, but they will sort it out for you if you tell them at check-in.

10pm Wednesday night on Norfolk Lines - £40 return, so a significant saving over the tunnel at about £100, even more so when you add an extra £20 for fuel. Having said that I much prefer the tunnel.

Cheap crossing Norfolk,I've used them all Dover Harwich Hull whatever you can afford or willing to pay.The tunnel is overpriced don't know why.

Ah, that's why Colin didn't go last year!

N.B. - Maersk sold Norfolkline to DFDS.

13:50 Thursday 19th Eurotunnel, £100. Will be looking out for other Tivs on the incredibly tedious E40.

We are on 9.30 ish ferry Thursday, to give us plenty of time to get to hotel dump bags in the hotel , get luggage out of boot and put in room, get car checked and go to bar
