Sadly because of work, I shall be unable to attend.
Only missed a couple since 88, hope weather kind for the Friday !!
I know alot of UK regulars not going this year.
Classic Le Mans (50 years since Grantura's raced) a week later, teasing some away.
Hopefully can make it in 2013 !!
Cheers Ian B

Cars with a sound intensity of more than 95 dB(A) will be removed from the track by track officials!

What does that mean - 95dB Static? Drive By? Can anyone with experience from previous years confirm whether Cerbs with track day silencers were caught out? Thanks

Drive by. There are meters in a couple of positions trackside. If your car is over the limit you will be shown a black flag (along with a board displaying the roundel number your car has been issued with). You then get a chance to make any adjustments necessary and can go out again, but if you get black-flagged again, you cannot continue.

Unless, of course, you are Number 7, and you get black-flagged anyway. biggrin

Sorry Paul, couldn't help myself.

Many thanks.

I’ve made a reservation for two nights at a B&B a couple of miles from the track which saves €100 over the official accommodation. Is that worth doing or I am going to miss out big time?

Thanks guys, reservation changed to a cheap B&B five miles from Van der Valk Hotel Heerlen, so an easy taxi ride for me to join you for dinner on Friday night.

Not me driving on at least one of those occasions, honest...

Not my fault cats hadn't been invented when the Wedge was designed (come to think of it, the wheel and the internal combustion engine were new fangled things back then), and it does help to know where the meters are evil

See you there?

Is the track day ATDO organised? I would like to know whether the Mannings insurance will be valid. Thanks

After speaking with Mannings earlier another option is for it to be organised by a recognised car club, AND to be a member of the club to be covered. I'm sure TVR NL satisfies the first condition, but I guess registration does not include day or temporary membership.
