Anyway i usually come over to germany every year for a bike rally but this year im bringing my truck.

All good so far until i tried ti book Rac euro breakdown and they refused as its no a uk or europea vehicle.

I have been looking through the adac website and see its the actual person thats covered.

Does anyone know if they would recover an australian imported vehicle if the worst was to happen and transport it back?.

I have heard they dont bother about what it is but need more info.

I have ADAC cover and as you say it's the person thats covered, I was informed by the ADAC man that it covers anything that you are driving/in. Now I'm sure there's some small print somewhere but it's all in German!

ADAC are not bothered what car you drive they covered me in a hire car in america,british cars in the uk and british cars in germany they are the cream of motoring organisations

Certainly they won't transport it back to Australia

Within Europe they would transport the vehicle back to your home address (ADAC plus).

All Sorted ADAC emailed me with exactly what i needed so now signed up on the Europlus and my emissions zone sticker has just arrived aswell.
