Hi All,

My business partner and I are looking to expand our operation into mainland Europe and at present, we're very much at the 'research' stage as to whether it's viable.

No idea why (although my business partner thinks it's because i want lots of autobahn filled jollies to the Nurburgring!), but the main two countries that we'd like to target first for conducting a little research are France and Germany.

I could do with some international PH'ers advice though - do any of you living in Germany have a name and email address for a locally based (to you) English-speaking, preferably ex-pat, but not essential builder?

If so, could you let us have this??

Don't worry - we dont want the tricks of their trade - just the littlest bit of advice via email - rather than lots of annoying phone calls.

Thanks in advance!

Simon

Hi Sider, not in the trade but am a German native and speak english. Do know a bit about builders from personal experience at the customer end and am happy to help if I can.
Best regards, Felix

Don't think that you will find too many builders bothering to speak english, all their customers (apart from me) speak german.

try the toytowngermany forum. It is divided by regions and is specifically for English speaking people living in Germany, you will find some advice in English on there.
