Hi all,

only got my self to blame, ive bought tickets for the F1 race at Hockenheim (Germany) and now im struggling to find a hotel nearby for a decent price.

Ive found a few potential places however they are after 150-200 euro per night person.

Requirements:

Willing to pay 50 euro's or so a night per person
4 people (two rooms of two)
car park (pref free)
Within 1 hour or so drive from the track

they are towns nearby but have limited knowledge on good places to stay and reviews online and not always trust worthy.

Thanks

You should reckon with all hotels in a 100km radius being booked up. If you stay further away it should be OK.

Are you flying in? If yes then stay in Frankfurt (only an hour away) If you're driving, I'd be thinking of somewhere either just over the border in Alsace (eg Strasbourg or Hagenau) or Karlsruhe, or to the west Landau or Kaiserslautern

Hotel prices and available rooms will be scary during that weekend.

Considered camping?

hi,

will be driving over.

must be a hotel of some sort, ive been on to hotel comparsion site but every time i ring up to see if the details (price/room/ dates) are correct they either say "sorry we are booked" or we want 300 Euro per night for a single room WITHOUT breakfast.

Will try thoses area's later on tonight to see if i can find anything.

Thanks
