Selling my LHD Porka in germany

Hello

I am thinking of selling my car soon it's an 89 3.2 carrera, the car was originaly imported to the
UK from germany and looking at the current re-sale values I think I may get a better price if I was to try and sell it in Germany? Can any one offer any advice as to why this would be a good or bad idea?
I really have no idea of how to start and I don't speak german but I do have friend who does.
My first thought was be Ebay.de but then I thought who would buy it without seeing it first and then who would come and see it if they might not win the auction..

Any advice would be appreciated.

Ebay UK with option to post to Germany etc, offer to collect them from a local airport etc, suggest flight operators & prices, ferries are £50 one way at mo, be proactive in offering to assist for export, state cash sale only & be prepared to accept Euro's only up to E200 notes though Give a very thorough description, point out good & bad, offer to video the car & email it. I might suggest also offer to deliver the car as it's easier for them subject to payment being made, make life easy & you'll get a sale.

You'll be very surprised how many might be interested.
