I've recently moved to Darmstadt (near Frankfurt) and have an E39 M5 that I want to bring over at some point. I'm pretty particular about who looks after my car, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a decent independent M-specialist in the Frankfurt area that I can trust?

Hey,

I'm in Frankfurt with my E36 M3 - I've not found anywhere apart from main dealer. There are a few small places that I wouln't trust with a Lada let alone my M - I'm beginning to think that in Germany it's more common to use the dealer but please let me know if you find a specialist as I now need a VANOS replacement :-/

I will drop a note here if I find anyone.

Cheers.

I know its a trek and a half but try all the teams around the Nürburgring...There are so many specilising in ///M its unreal and you always opt for these guys...

Ok that was light hearted banter. I'd seek out a company that deals with supercar servicing/bmw race team or a main dealer and that way you know what your getting is proper. I'm still learning Germany and i have a 328iSE (above) and I'm getting my work and stuff done at a race team outside the Nürburg at a competitive price too compared to UK money! Just a thought for you guys to consider.
