Need a fix of TVR?
Discussion
Anybody in need of some British motoring greatness should head over to Central Garage in Bad Homburg the next couple of weeks - they opened an exhibition on the history of TVR this past weekend and the cars wil be on show through March 2009 - check here for a description of what is on show (some 30 cars from the Grantura through to a Sagaris apparently). Opening hours are somewhat limited (Wednesday through Sunday - noon through 4:30 pm) but the place has hosted a couple of good exhibitions recently so probably worth the detour if you are somwhere in Rhein-Main.

Thank you, Axel, for the tip, I would have missed this one.
How about a small "PH Rhein-Main-Meet", going for a visit there together?
Maybe in January, because the advent weekends are already "full" for me ?
Regards from Frankfurt,
Benni

As an ex employee, Id like to go with you maybe!
Can we meet up?
I live in Nauheim and work in Russelsheim (well I do unless Opel goes TU!).

Sounds like a plan - may I suggest Sunday 18th?How about a small "PH Rhein-Main-Meet", going for a visit there together?

Right! Been there last weekend with the Cerb and really liked the exhibition very, very much!
Beautiful TVRs, all from German members, some very nice TVaRtwork from Uli Ehret, memorabilia, all in a very nice setting.
And the Zante is there!
Even a diecast model shop in the same building.
The opportunity to enjoy the Autobahn sealed the deal.
Very well organised by Michael Wiring from Central Garage:

I agree on the date, Sunday 18th of Jan is OK with me.Since the opening hours are from 12:00 to 16:30,
should we be there right at 12:00 ?

Benni
Yeah, with my turboed Busa motor in it, I will drive circles around you.......
Back to reality: If you see a Mk3 Golf estate that is stickered-up
in a way some PHers drive to LM, that´s me inside.
To top (bottom?) it all, my winter tires are mounted on the gayest No-No rims ever,
RONAL Teddy Bears....
And if I see someone running away, that´s you then ?
Regards,
Benni

Shameless bump - just a reminder that Benni & myself will meet up to see the exhibition this coming Sunday - if anybody wants to join us at noon at Central-Garage you are more than welcome to - some excellent pics of the cars are linked to from a thread in the general TVR forum that I am too lazy to link to.
