driing from Munich to Nuremburg

I am visiting Brau in Nuremburg this month and the flights are very expensive into Nuremburg but managed to bag some fairly decent flights into Munich.

How long would it take to drive between the two (Munich to Expo Centre at Nuremburg).

Also, any thoughts on car hire from the airport?

Drive shouldn't take you more than 90 minutes when the roads are free, all respected carhire companies at the airport.
If you need a car in Nürnberg then hire, if not, have you thought about the ICE express trains (every hour at least) might be cheaper if you're only there for a short time...

There are two of us going, and taken the step of hiring with Budget, as it worked out reasonably cheap.

90 minutes is about right, means we should try and book a hotel near Nuremburg ... if we can find one that is!
