Where to stay at the 'Ring

I'm looking for a bit of direction more than anything. I've had a look at the hotels on Ben Lovejoys site, but i don't know what the best option is.
There's a group of 4 of us going for 2 nights at the beginning of May, and i'm trying to find a decent hotel that will have a bit of life in it in the evenings (beer and chat, not dancing girls ). So far http://www.ringhaus.com/hotel_en/public/index.php is looking like a favourite, but are there any other i should consider?

There are many in the area.
The ringhaus is practically a stones throw from the track.
There is another one near the fuel garage (Dottinger Hotel I think)
Numerous hotels in Adenau.
Numerous hotels in surrounding villages.

The whole area is Nurburgring mad so you will never be far away from some good banter.

Just takes a little bit of googling to find them.

The Dorrint's pretty good. Two bars, pool, sauna etc. Plus the rooms overlook the GP circuit!

I eventually booked the Ringhaus as they could accomodate all 4 of us in the 1 room, coupled with the fact the bar is open until the last person has left

If you get stuck in the future...got a friend who works for BMW dealer in Bad Neuenahr and has a garage to keep the car...they can work on it and he is very quick himself round the ring
