Hello,

I have an opportunity on the last day of an upcoming holiday to rent a sports car/performance car from MUC airport for the day. I’ll be with my family, so the plan would be to pick up the car the evening before we fly home, get up early the next day and go for a drive as it gets light, and then use the car to get us back to the airport later in the day.

The downside is that once the airport return trip is taken into account, I’ll have about 250km left to play with. Are there any routes people can suggest for a couple of hours driving where I can actually enjoy a performance car around that area? I’ve no great interest in trying to go fast on an unrestricted autobahn - I just want some twisty, scenic roads, hopefully with minimal traffic, where I can enjoy being in something a bit more special than my V70 for a short while.

The Alps are too far for the mileage restriction unfortunately, and it is tricky to research online because there is no Streetview. Thanks for any suggestions!

Tricky.

It's mostly rolling Bavarian farmland to the NE of Munich, towards the airport.

First opinion would be a drive to Chiemsee and back.
Second opinion would be triangle of Ingolstadt, Regenburg and back.

Or maybe follow the river Danube to Deggendorf and back ?
