Best place for young drivers, to rent cars in Germany?

Hi everyone,
I am a young driver (age 21), from Britain, looking to go to Germany, to drive on the Autobahn.
I will be looking to rent a car when I'm in Germany, but the problem is, from searching online, I've found many vehicle rental companies are not even willing to lease cars to drivers below age 23-25, if they are do, they're barely willing to lease more than a Fiat 500!
Ideally, I want a car capable of travelling at least >225 kmh (140 mph), so I can have good use out of the Autobahn.
I'm not really bothered about the brand, or how flashy the car is, just caring about performance here (something like a higher engine spec BMW 3 or 5 series/Audi/Mercedes/Honda Civic Type R would be fine).
Therefore, does anyone have any recommendations of which rental companies to use, that are not only willing to lease to young drivers, but also willing to lease cars that have more power than a lawnmower?

Leasing or renting? Two different things and I don’t know what you mean. Do you mean the short-term (one month or longer) Eurodrive leasing, or just a normal rental car from Europcar, Sixt, Avis etc?
If you mean the latte, check out www.check24.de it’s like GoCompare (or whatever you have in the UK) and I pulled random dates in May out of thin air and got prices for around €30/day for anything from Clips to dS3s and Leons.

I always though leasing & renting were the same thing?
But anyway, what I'm looking for is a very short term rental car (say, 1 day -> 1 week), that I can drive whilst I'm there.Thanks for the site - though do you know if it only offers rentals at airports?
For example - I search for "Berlin", and the only options that pop up are either of the 2 airports (don't have anything against renting at an airport, though I just find in general airport hire prices are higher, compared to rental stations in the city/elsewhere)
Edit - also, do you know any easy way, that you can get the exact spec type, of the models of car they have available?
For example - I found a Ford Fiesta on the check24 site, though the site merely states "Ford Fiesta", and doesn't list factors like top speed, or spec type in the product information. This is important since, across the brand line, the Fiesta has a top speed that varies from 98.8 to 144.2 mph (depending on trim level).

1) Under 25 (some allow from 23 y.o.) doubtful if you'd even be considered to rent. CHeck before you fly!
2) You can only reserve a car group not a specific model
3) flying into Berlin you'll have to check the airport, Tegel (TXL) is in the north of west Berlin, Schönefeld is south of eastern Berlin the old DDR airport and the scandalous BER. You'll be able to collect a car at both, expect 15% higher prices than town locations

You won't find a car rental company that will quote the spec of the car that you will get, you'll get group a, b, c, d, etc etc. and that could be anything.
I think it's a good system as it discourages 21 year olds renting a Fiesta ST and killing themselves when they attempt to max it out on their first ever drive on the Autobahn.
