We drive to Germany every year for a Grand Prix or two. I have to admit I can't fault the country and there are no speed limits coming from bruntromgrad you don't know what that feels like, actually being able to take your eyes off the speedo and look at the road and not worry about what speed your doing.

PS We don't take the Westy my cousin has a 944 and im seriously considering following him to the land of Germany motoring.

I will to the country.

Hi Markus...and all

didn't now that there is a German area on that forum.

Study my profile and you'll see that we're neighbours.
I live between Koblenz and the Nurburgring.

hi im new on here and thought id say hello here!
the reason?
im off to the nurburgring in August and wondered if anybody on here will be going at the same time?

im traving on thursday August 11th 2005
and coming home to cornwall on the following monday.
its arranged through an agent thats arranges meets all over the world and this meet is named the old timers grand prix, there should be loads of old cars going classic, historic etc etc.

i myself have got a nissan 200sx s14a, i only bought it for trying drifting honest!
its ok but not in the same class as my old Audi S4 oh how i miss her.

its not that fast but its no slow coach either its about 280bhp and should be a good nurburg ringer!

if anybody is going at the same time and want to get lost on the other side together gis an email.
cheers

and ive posted in teh wrong thread as well so ive put this in the nurburg one as well
sorry!!

What happened to that one from Sennegal?

Its quite picturesque here, seeing as it's quite central here nr frankfurt, isn't it a good idea to have a meet here?

And Kit cars are harder to get in/use. ( I know they are used as yesterday I saw a Caterfield) and old classic cars under 30 years old are not cost effective to run! Even the 944 in your profile would be really expensive to tax. That's freedom for you!
