Parking in Stuttgart

We (six people in three Porsches)are planning our annual visit to Germany at the moment. We usually just spend a few days in Adenau so we can drive a few laps of the Ring, but this time we are having an overnight stay in Stuttgart. We have arranged to do the Porsche factory tour in the afternoon, this will be on a Monday when the Museum is closed, as will the car park. As our hotel is a few kilometers away, it is too far to walk and the email confirmation states that we won't be able to park on the dealer car park. I have looked on the web for car parks in Stuttgart and there doesn't look to be any near by. Does anyone have a suggestion as to the best place to park, or would a taxi/taxis be the best option.

When I was I Stuttgart last I stayed at a hotel near the Porsche museum, and there was plenty of free on-street parking. It's an ok area (mixed residential/business) so I think you'd find space for 3 cars.

The Porsche Museum/Factory is very close to an S-Bahn stop if that helps?
