Insurance woes
Discussion
Afternoon,
I've been trying to get some quotes for a new, to me, car. Are there any insurers that anyone can recommend that will not charge the earth? This will be my first German insurance policy but I'm finding that using my UK NCB is not really a problem.
I'm trying to find resonable insurance for a 2009 Porsche Turbo and the cheapest quotes are coming in between 2500 and 3000€! I have 7 years NCB and I am 30. The same car costs less than a grand in GB vollkasko! Frustrating doesn't cover it.
Thanks,
Pete

Pete, try my insurance makler Martens & Prahl, www.martens-prahl.de
I managed to save a huge amount when I moved and started with them. They are a makler, not bound to one insurance as most are here, so they can offer a whole sheaf of insurances depending on your needs. My guy is in their Berlin office, Mr Kebbedies. No idea whether he speaks english but he couldn't be more helpful.
If you need more info (tel nos and e-mail adress etc) PM me.
