Hi Guys,

Anyone able to recommend anywhere to stop on the way down to Bad Ischl in Austria in March? We stopped in Brugge, the Nurburghring and BMW world on the way back last time. Is anyone able to advise somewhere to stop off the the evening. Ideally no cities but towns etc.

Cheers

Anywhere in Luxembourg is a good place. Stock up on cheap duty frees
and cheap petrol.

Towns halfway, like in the Frankfurt area, might be a good idea.
Darmstadt's pretty good.

Couple of places come to mind, easy reach off of the E42. First is Durbuy, turn off at Andene about an hour from Liege. Lovely place with plenty of restaurants/hotels. Or there's Dinant ,a bit further along the E 42. A trip up to the Castle is worth while.

Why not try the Black Forest? I would suggest pension Williams just 5 mins from the B500. Great place great owner (me!)
