Goodbye to summer

And that is the end of the seasonal numberplate allowance on my car. I run a fun car for weekends and sunny evenings, which can be run until the end of October. It is a bit sad to know it will have to stay in the garage until April 1st. Oh well, the snow and ice is just round the corner. But 4000km in three months isn't bad.

Same for me I'm afraid. On Wednesday night I managed to get the Elise out for one last moonlit blast before parking it up for winter. Still, having it in the garage for a few months gives plenty of time for doing all the jobs on it I should have done during the summer. It's going to be a long wait until April...

One of my nagging concerns is if my company decides to move me before then. Selling it in the winter on seasonal plates would make it that bit more complex.
