If you are interested what you car can do on the prepped Hockenheim Quartermile,
head down there on this weekend for the "Public Race Days".
One start is 7€, three for 20€, no tech inspection, no hassles
exept for a long queue of likeminded acceleration-junkies.

If you fancy a trophy, join the little heads-up race in the afternoon,
one on saturday and one on sunday, for "fast street cars" (open to all marques),
fast Opels and fast VWs.
"Street Eliminator Germany" Cars hold their final round and some fast streetbikes duke it out.

In the past years, this has been a weekend where some quite exotic cars turn up,
stuff you don´t see at smaller airport races (9ff, Ultima, MKB1000 etc.),
but they get slapped by 500-900hp Golfs from Boba Motoring and other tuners.

There is also a "Dragster Test & Tune" for sportsman Drag Racers to prepare for next weekend´s
"NitrOlympX", some "Pro" cars & Bikes might also sneak in there, I know of one Nitro Harley for sure.

If you don´t want to participate, just watch, part of Südtribüne is open for 5€ with seats,
and "for something completely different" the "Formula Student"
is racing their international field of self-built monoposti on other parts of the circuit.
I will be announcing the quartermile action and hope for good weather.
