Oktoberfest Table Reservations
Discussion
Afternoon all, does anyone have any good webiste recommendations for booking tables at the Oktoberfest? In the past I have been invited by a company. But unfortunately this year their hospitality budget has been slashed... and yes I know I have left it late to book a table.
Thanks in advance

Never been there, but:

Look for the "Beer tents" tab, open it, check the tents, and get to the contact data for each tent,
there you will find reservation phone numbers etc.

Apology for the slight hijak here:
I'm thinking of Oktoberfest for next year. Been to Munchen in the past so I know what a great city it is but never been to the festival.
Just like to know is it ALL pre-booking and tickets only?
Is it ALL beer tents? Or are there any 'open air' free to arrive and leave when you like places?
Cheers.

You can just show up in a tent & sit down, the earlier in the day the better. Reservations are recommended if you're travelling with a group & don't want to end up split up!I'm thinking of Oktoberfest for next year. I did the Oktoberfest for a few years on the trot (94-95-96) when I lived in Munich; I would best describe it as a fairground with beer. Lots of beer, and a lot of italians who can't handle beer! There are a lot of events on in & around Oktoberfest, various parades etc. All in all there's a great atmosphere there, plenty of live oompah music etc.
Although the main event is located in one place, there are loads of different events all all over Munich for those 2 weeks - the main Hofbrauhaus is generally hopping around that time, as well as the bars in the city centre up to Schwabing - the tents close relatively early, so people spill out to the pubs & clubs to finish getting wrecked!!
