Need a good cheap garage in Germany - Road trip problem

Hi,

Currently I'm writing this from Romania as part of my 3000+ mile road trip from London.

Since leaving Hungary the car has been making a small knocking noise over pot holes, bumps and judders when braking slightly. I have had the car checked over in Romania by a small garage who has said it is the lower arm or brace or wishbone or bushes. Something along those lines. I am leaving România for Prague, Czech, in the morning and will be in Germany by Monday. No specific part of Germany at the moment as the plâns have not been finalised. From leaving Czech I would like to visit a cheap-ish garage in Germany (preferably en route to the black forest) so does anyone have any suggestions?

Sorry for the late reply. It is an Audi A4 FWD 2.0 TDi B7.

Can't really help with a garage, but Monday is a public holiday in Germany.

OP, it sounds like suspension bushing. I'm sure any Audi/VW garage here could sort it. If you've no luck finding one and are still travelling to the Black Forest, my local dealer near here'd help (most SW tip of Germany). drop me a PM if necessary.
