Hey cheers I was asking about a circuit to the family I will be with and they said there is a circuit in halle, but I think they may mean a go-kart track, I'll have to check Oschersleben out for sure!

Someone have a conversation with me in german I'll try not to use google translate, I am trying my hardest to learn but it's so hard with everyone around me talking english, my girlfriend, Marie, who I'll be living with is helping out a lot too, I'm hoping that with everyone talking german when I'm there that I will pick it up much quicker, still doing a few hours every day though

da ist nämlich das größte Opel Treffen der Welt.
Viele Prolls (Chavs) und "Barriemobile", aber auch schöne Oldtimer und einige extrem getunte.
Ich werde die Achtelmeilen-Rennen kommentieren.

Falls du ein Paar Doc Martens hast, oder Lonsdale Klamotten, nimm sie mit,

Erstmal bleibe ich auf unbestimmte Zeit in Sangerhausen. Später werde ich vielleicht nach Nordhausen ziehen, weil meine Freundin dort zur Schule geht. Ich würde gerne zu dem Opel Treffen in Oschersleben kommen, aber das hängt von den Umständen ab. Ich habe keine Doc Martens oder Lonsdale Klamotten...denn ich habe Geschmack in Sachen Kleidung.

Ich wünschte, ich hätte das alles geschrieben, aber um ehrlich zu sein hat mir meine Freundin beim übersetzen geholfen.

I'm afraid I'm also far away, but welcome to Germanyland, anyway. It's not as bureaucratic as it seems, and most of the people I've come into contact with have been pretty nice. Enjoy it!

Kassel does look a little far but I'll be sure to message you if/when I/we are in the area It looks like we may actually move to Nordhausen sooner rather than later too

Also far away, (do you get the idea you've picked somewhere which nobody knows of, or about?)
Bureaucracy, used to be bad, but certainly not as bad as the DM picture of the british jobsworths nowadays.

Well hidden gem that is, old Fritz has some machinery there that is unique in Germany.
When plans for a visit get more concrete, mail me [e-mail]- and I would like to join.
As I worked there ages ago I could tell a bit about some of the exhibits.
