Any ideas? (work connections)
Discussion
I’m not the most regular poster in the PH family, so I guess I feel it’s a little out of favour to ask for help; but nonetheless, my prior attempts have fallen through and I thought I may as well turn to you gents…
(Shall try and keep this brief)
I’m a second year student studying Economics with French at Royal Holloway University, for various slightly complicated reasons unlike most language students my degree does not allow me to have a year abroad to actually learn the language. Fortunately French is pretty good, but nonetheless this summer I am planning on spending as much time in France as possible…
All of this means that I need to find something to do with myself from about July to September time, I had two of places lined up, but they have both recently fallen through, and quite simply I was wondering if anyone might have some connections in France who may be after someone to work with them for the summer.
My spoken French is good and my work experience is mainly based around property, I work part time as an estate agent here, and it’s something I’ve been involved with for many years. I’m flexible as to location (as long as it’s France ) and am happy even to work for free given board and lodging.
I’m sorry if this seems out of place, but could really do with a little advice, any thoughts or ideas would be truly appreciated.
Cheers,
David
