Sunrise

An interesting - well, to me anyway - question. Since, by the sun, there are 54 mins difference between sunrise in Strasburg and Brest, when the French news (or more correctly weather forecast I guess) talks about sunrise for tomorrow, where are they talking about? I would guess Notre Dame in Paris, but I thought I'd ask the question.

I was driving from Le Havre to Paris CDG this morning and noticed its still dark at 8.30am it was beautiful sun rise this morning crystal blue sky and white snow everywhere.
