Gitanes Cigarettes

Apologies for the random post, but could anyone help with where I can buy "Gitanes Mais - Filtre" cigarettes?

I can buy the regular "Gitanes Filtre" here in the UK? But cannot find the "Mais" variety anywhere?

I was back in Paris a few weeks ago and went to the main tobacco specialist shops and no-one sold them?

Your help would be much appreciated

I remember these. They're horrible !

I think people in Paris don't smoke these. If you want to find them, head for the area of France which has got the most tractors... that's usually closer to their target market!

They are not sold anymore...Too dangerous. They are now part of our cultural heritage like 2CVs!

The answer is - they haven't. They are still available at 5.90€ a packet. I saw them in the bar today. Much loved and still smoked a lot in the country areas. A friend buys them every day.

They're actually not that bad. Oddly the standard Gitanes Filtre are far worse IMO.
