Beautiful area in the Loire valley, very pretty and lots of chateaux to visit. And wine. Oh yes, of course don't forget the wine. Hic

I stayed here for three years on the trot, for Le Mans, with the Bentley Drivers Club when Bentley were competing.

I stayed there, back in 2002 after Le Mans.http://www.hotel-anneanjou.com/
Lots of character, good location and reasonable price at the time.

+1 for le Gambetta, good lunch. A bit hard to find, looks unassuming from the street. Recommended by the late Arthur Eperon 30 yrs ago in Travelers France and still spot on.
I've got three of Arthur's books, they still make wonderful reading material. His enthusiasm and humour still make me smile even after all these years.Gassing Station | France | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
