Looking for a hotel for a stop-over on our way down from the tunnel to Limoges area and thought Rouen would be a nice spot and worth a visit.

It's for four adults and three kids, so it's a two car trip this time but can anyone please recommend somewhere that's comfortable and friendly please.

Family rooms would be useful too if possible.

Help!

There's a Mercure and an Ibis next to each other on the edge of the old part of the city. Only about 2km after the tunnel - not far from the ring road and about 10 mins walk to the restaurant area in the old city. Check out the Accor website.

Fantastic bit of architecture if you're into that and can see past the scaffolding! More importantly are the choice of excellent restaurants in the place du Vieux Marché area lick
