Hi Guys

Wonder if someone would be able to help,

Does anyone know where to get a paperback copy of the french highway code in English please?

The only one I can think of is this:

I have never heard of an official one.

Thanks for that,

I did a bit more research after starting the thread, started the thread as I thought it would be a quick answer.

Apparently there isnt an official french highway code (code de la route), there are various publicists however that do a code de la route.

While younger drivers have benefited from good instruction, particularly bikers, I am often appalled by some older drivers.

Turning left from the off-side lane without signalling at a roundabout being commonplace around here and looking in rear-view mirrors to see what is happening behind them seems virtually non-existent – even on track.

One also has to doubt the general wisdom of the sans-permit regime, particularly for young bikers; however I do acknowledge the difficulty of getting around in the country without personal transport.
