Car insurance

I know this crops up from time to time but I thought a bouquet was due to my english insurer. I have cars that aren't homolgated in France (requiring me to have the car crash tested before having the right to french plates!) so keep them on UK plates. Besides, several are quite well know by their plates and I don't want to lose the history. Anyway, the everyday clunker was due for renewal with Saga who, wearing their usual highwayman's mask, wanted £750. (They give an annual green card by the way). So I phoned my classic car insurer and they willingly added it at £345. If you need a quote anytime (and I know many have a classic car which they've kept on UK plates) try Lockton's. They've given me damned good service over the years and all my cars are now insured with them.
