They don't make it easy do they, compared to just a signature on the V5 in the UK, I need to get together the Carte Grise, a CT (issued within the last 6 months), a certificat de cession d'un vehicule. and a Certificat de situation administrative simple.
All pretty simple I suppose and at least there will be no question about when I actually sold the vehicle, when the certificat de Cession is in triplicate, (one for me, one for the buyer and one for the state)
At least the fact that the car is being sold for far more than it would make in the UK is making it all worthwhile and will give me some spends for a skiing trip in the new year.

Also you have to mark the CG with 2 lines with "Vendu" and the date and time written on it (like a crossed cheque)- the time is important, just in case the buyer collects a speeding ticket on the way home !!
