The time has now come, we're emigrating to France next week.

Looking forward to it (just not the logistics, which mean three return trips in a week) smile

Dept 31 - Haute Garonne near the Pyrenees. It's about -5 at the moment so don't forget to bring a coat.

Going down to Toulouse (via Carcassonne) tomorrow for a bit of a party on Friday.

Thanks for the warning Paul (though it had been mentioned by a mate earlier in the week)

Big fleece and lots of jumpers now in suitcase wink

ETA: Good luck Mello, made me very jealous. Should have done it myself years ago.

Since you are near Mayenne, just to make you feel at home have a look here:-

http://www.epiceriebarenton.com/default.html

We went and bought a load of food before Xmas because, having so many french to table, we thought they ought to eat turkey and stuffing with Xmas pud not oysters and roast beef or duck (though we started with oysters anyway). Their cumberland sausages are to die for too, as are their pork pies. They do mail order if others are interested.
