Modifyied/show cars in France!!!

Ok well I thought I would see how many of this forum users have modifyied or show cars here in France, as I know from other forums that people from all over UK come here to live and some seem to sell theire pride and joy because of the legislation here, which is a huge shame as there is quite a good scene in some places, where the French meet up and show what they have. Having been to a few meets and won a few cups for my previoustoy, I was just wondering if any other users do the same.
Even if you dont have modifyied car but go to car meets or have a car that you show etc, I would like to know, as its good to know other car enthusiasts around.
