I'm over in normandy for the weekend and it's the first time i've done the Portsmouth to Cherbourg trip, Calais is the usual choice.

I'm on my motorbike, so it won't be easy reading maps and i've not got a satnav, my question is, how easy it is to find your way out of cherbourg?

Is Saint Lo signposted from the port?

cheers

Can't speak for Cherbourg - but from Le Havre and Caen it's very easy. The French like to help motorists (by and large) - it's not like the UK hehe

Yup, down in the Loir valley - near La Chartre-sur-le-Loir smile

we're further north than that. Draw a line eastward from mont st michel for 20 miles and you'll find us. Not quite as warm as you, but plenty of cider!
