In depth mapping website

Does anyone know of a French website that will allow me to see the names of little clusters of homes in rural areas? You know the type, two or three buildings on a country lane with a little sign saying the name.

I guess it would need to be Ordnance Survey type mapping...

You can try Geoportail: http://www.geoportail.fr/en_UK/index.do

You'll find under "MAP" a layer called "IGN Map" which should be precise enough.
