Dear All,

I'm driving to Tuscany for my honeymoon in August September and wondered if anyone could recommend any great hotels? I'm doing Roscoff to Portofino over two days so was thinking about Beaune for a night but any suggestions most welcome!

Thanks in advance for your help,

Giles

We did a similar trip for our Honeymoon in August. We stayed in Epernay on way down. Can recommend a nice Hotel there if that's any use? Also stayed at a nice one in Antibes on the way home.

Thanks for the offer but think I've got it sussed now. We're driving from Roscoff so won't go as high up as Epernay and are stopping in Beaune, Portofino and Florence then taking the Motorail back up from Nice.

I'm sure you'll love it, we did. Portofino is beautiful, although I was only there for an hour.

I live in Haute Garonne region of SW France and that is stunning wherever I seem to drive, hope to get the Sagaris down there over the summer time

Villa Louise right by Beaune is pretty & not too expensive.

I've booked us into the Abbaye de la Bussiere now which seems to get good reviews so fingers crossed!:

yep, nice too, stayed there a while back. Good secure parking as well (if that's a concern)

you'll enjoy for sure, congrats by the way! smile
