Any help appreciated, how long is the trip and what is the return cost, I have a 5 hour wait at Paris Charled de Gaulle on Saturday and planning a little trip into central Paris.

Thanks

40mn to 1h15 (depending on how many stops) to get to Gare de l'Est with the RER B (blue line) + whatever Metro to get to wherever you like. http://www6.ratp.info/Pivi/piviweb.php?exec=piviwe...

If you're not used to it, you may be cutting it fine. You could also try the Cars Air France (lower level, Terminal 2F).

Try this www.ratp.fr

I think you mean Gare du Nord wink

There are direct trains, and there are stopping everywhere services. It's down to pot luck which train you get on the RER B line. There's only one track, so the fast trains don't overtake the slow trains.

The danger with the bus is that the roads to/from CDG can get very jammed.

Well...aherm... it's not that I'm French AND studied for 2 years in Paris AND regularly land at CDG to go see my brother who lives in Paris...

The RATP route planner was a good tip though hey... shame even I can't read it!

as you were. paperbag
