Exchange Rate Makes UK Bargains

For those French (Euro paid) residents here, we've all found certain products/markets where the rapid decent of the pound has given rise to incredible bargains in the UK. As the FX effects kick in these current bargains will probably re-price and therefore disappear, but for now... within this small French corner of PH, time to share our findings

Some examples today (buying Xmas presents for the kids)
iPod Classic 120GB.
Cheapest UK Price £170 = EUR 183.
Cheapest French price EUR 249.00

Also Nintendo Wii Console with Sports game are exactly the Pound/Euro prices as the iPod above.

How about cars... blimey.

Cheapest in UK £9500 = EUR 10300
Cheapest in France EUR 19890 (on 321Auto.com)
That's EUR 9000 less expensive in the UK !!!

Even paying for CT, import taxes and registration fees you are still going to save at least EUR 7500 buying from the UK. Well worth it IMO.

Even with the exchange rate, we'll still be filling the car up with Touraine to bring back to the UK after xmas!
