Did anybody else have a "frequent flyer" ticket with SF? We did, and we are looking to try and get something back (paid by credit card). Great value, now we know why! We've managed to re-book to go through the tunnel, but it's getting very booked up...
It's a shame SF have gone bust, I quite liked their no frills approach. Also Boulogne is a bit nearer our place in France than Calais. Ho hum.

Yip, me too.
I work in the cards business and you should be fine getting a refund for the unused portion of your booking, just go to your card issuer. If you have any trouble just quote section 4 of consumer credit act and that should do the trick.
If its a debit card though, you wont have the same rights.

Got my claim going through at the moment - 60% of the £230 I paid for 10 crossing ticket in January. I am looking at it positively, this was the third multi ticket I bought and overall, even if I get nothing back I will have saved money. I can only see other operators putting their prices up though unfortunately.
Just got my crossing booked,

Sat 27 Dec 2008 22:15, returning, Sat 10 Jan 2009 18:25 with P&O, grand total of £64, pretty happy with that, thats with extra height on the passat due to sofa on the roof too. Shame about speedferries though, they were good and it was good competition for the others.
